Katie’s Design House was founded by illustrator and print designer Katie Dyer. The artist’s work is vintage inspired with a modern, colourful twist and her illustrations are often achieved in a variety of media from various inks, paints and pastels.
What’s Going On?
All designs are very much inspired by the natural world, with lots of floral, foliage and fruity elements. Katie uses her paintings to create designs for a variety of textile and paper products and also shares her love for painting in group workshops. The workshops are hosted both online and in person with the aim to show others the joy and relaxation that can come from putting paintbrush to paper.
Expect to see hand painted illustrations of your favourite regional spots, vibrant floral gift wrap, tea towels, notebooks, greeting cards and fine art interior prints. Some of Katie’s prints can also be personalised to add that extra special touch.
Katie has a beautiful shop space upstairs in the Strickies Creative Hub at Strickland and Holt in Yarm where you can purchase her prints.
