Koselig is an artisan bakery in Guisborough, North Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on making the bakery a comfortable and welcoming environment that serves unique bakes using high quality ingredients. All of our breads, pastries, and fillings are made daily on site.
What’s Going On?
Koselig began as a concept when our family & friends team wanted to introduce their love of Scandinavian baking to the mainstream. We believe that Scandinavian baking is one of the most underrated forms of baking in the world. Sweet cardamom flavoured brioche treats, rich sourdough breads, flaky Danish pastries as well as bakery classics. Our team of bakers bring their collective skills to make a huge variety of bakes every single week. Most of our doughs take 3 or 4 days to create, which enhances the flavour using slow fermentation techniques.
Our vision for Koselig doesn’t stop at baking. We are trying to create a community space that people can visit time and time again. We believe we have the kindest team of people working in our bakery and we want everyone to feel welcome when they visit. We have hosted Yoga and Breathwork on our ‘Wellness Wednesdays’ and live music on Sundays, hosting excellent local artists.
