Established in 1996, Eliano’s is a family-run Italian restaurant based in Middlesbrough. Tucked away on Fairbridge Street, you quickly understand why Eliano’s gets classed as one of Middlesbrough’s best-kept secrets, as it is hard to believe you are only 30 seconds away from the hustle and bustle of Linthorpe Road.
What’s Going On?
Although Eliano’s has been going for 21 years, the story goes much further back for Eliano (from Sardinia) and Rosetta (from Calabrain), who both have had successful restaurants in Middlesbrough since the 70s such as Savinis. This wealth of experience combined with their passion for Italian cuisine has allowed them to create an authentic Italian experience right here in Teesside.
Inside has a classic rustic Italian feel to it with checked tablecloth, wine bottle candle holder and a lovely relaxed atmosphere which makes it very easy to spend the night in the company of friends and loved ones. When you reserve your table at Eliano’s it is yours for the full evening, so you never have that awkward feeling which you often get in restaurants as they hurry you out to free up the table.
Like many of the best Italian restaurants, all food is freshly prepared to order by Master chef, Eliano using the best quality local and Italian ingredients. Their carefully composed menu has something for everybody, from the Italian classics such as pizza and pasta to traditional Sardinian and Calabrain dishes which are inspired by their Italian roots. The dishes were well presented and cooked to perfection which makes it hard to pick just one, and you will be planning your next visit before you have even left.
For a taste of Italy right here in Teesside Eliano’s is a place you need to check out!
